Get yourself a star stamp if you're going to try these. It's impossible without one! I got so frustrated I ended up doing dots instead, lmao...but technically they're just reeeeaaalllyyy far away stars, and that's why they look like that.
How I made these: (click read more)
Ahh, I'm sorry that I haven't posted the results of my american shorts, but that's because I couldn't find the perfect size star stamp...but i'm going to settle with what I have :) Don't worry the post will come.
this is my favorite place to be away from people <3
sometimes you just need to take a step back and look at things from a different perspective...
I wore this to a baptism party where unfortunately for me I received a nasty migraine out of no where!! but its funny....the DJ was super great!! Some people said it was all the noise he made, but I honestly would have danced I knew the family better.
-Headband made by me
-Strapless tribal shirt made by me
-Dream catcher necklace
Alright so tommorow morning I'm for sure going to get started on attempting my own american flag inspired shorts. If I finish in the same day I promise I'll post up pictures of the process and how they turned out by that night. (:
In the meanwhile, enjoy this American Apparel commercial directed by Tony Kelly.

Outfit of Today:
Recently I went out thrifting for vintage accessories and I came across these 70's glasses which I LOVE! and have already ran my mind through different outfits I can make to compliment them. I'm so excited to have these!! but also a pair of beautiful (and completely real) mexican huaraches that my aunt brought me from Mexico. Thank you auntie<3
-70's vintage aviators
my personal favorite scene:
why? because it shows the hard work real dancers go through and PASSION that they have...
now of course this is just a movie scene but enough inspiration for me!
and then there's the famous final dance:
Whaaaaaaat?? nice clothes on wheels... definitely my official dream closet<3
I came across this image on http://weheartit.com/ but found it really difficult to trace its original source. I'm guess it came from a tumblr account somewhere but I'm not sure exactly where, so I'm sorry that I don't really know who to give credits to or even ask that person about what this is. Wish I knew where they were headed to...but since I don't, I'll make up a nice story for you :) (see photo caption)
the caption is a made up story for entertainment, nothing real, and just making it clear
This is a photo sent to me from an old friend who lives deep in Wisconsin. She attends around 12 to 18 music festivals every year; 9 of which are during the summer. With all that love for music and travel, there's also a need to work and earn money. So while she travels with all her close friends, she sells and trades vintage clothing for things like food, water, and bath. If it's not obvious, this girl does what she does for the love of it.
The other morning I decided to take a nice stroll over to Domino's Pizza. SO DELICIOUS. This was the morning I decided that I really do love vegetables on my pizza now;how grown up of me. It was the perfect breakfast. & so in conclusion, wore this outfit as I waited for my pizza :)
side note: I look pretty bored if you may have noticed... but my expression definitely wasn't like that once the order was ready!
Just some simple Polyvore sets:

(thank you Geovanna! for showing me to polyvore)
Today is August 6th of 2011, the date of my first official blog post but also known as Lucille Ball's one hundredth birthday. This iconic woman stole the spotlight in Hollywood for years with her modeling and charismatic acting. Not only is she a star and a great inspiration for many many women, she was(and still is, if you'd ask me) a classy style icon.
